There is so much women face in our society. From social pressures of conforming to society’s expectations to balancing a career with family to carving out time for self-care and so on. Women are often battling issues with self-esteem, identity, disempowerment/empowerment, defining femininity, body image, sexuality, intimacy, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, work/family balance, self-care, life transitions, empty nesting, aging parents, and relationships.


I have walked closely with several women both personally and professionally through a variety of issues. I hold a soft spot in my heart for working with women of all ages, who are dealing with a myriad of issues. I treasure journeying alongside women as they navigate life’s hurdles and seasons.


I approach counseling women on an individual basis, predicated upon their unique and immediate needs. However, often we are collaboratively working to create healthy relational boundaries, improving self-esteem, processing family of origin-related issues, exploring roles and identity, fostering empowerment, building coping skills, processing life transitions, and developing self-care habits. Therapy often involves techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. In some instances, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is necessary for self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, and family of origin-related issues.
